WARNING!
The Bible teaches that the Lord Jesus Christ will return someday and the day He returns, the true born again Christians will go to be with Him eternally but those who are unbelievers will face judgment and be cast into eternal Hell.
(2 Th 1:7-10 KJV) And to you
who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his
mighty angels, {8} In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God,
and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: {9} Who shall be punished with
everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; {10}
When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that
believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.
Many churches teach that God is only love but they forget that God is a consuming fire (Heb. 12:29). The Bible also tells us that every sign has been completed and the return of Christ is imminent and we do not know when the last day will be. There was never a time in history when every end time sign has been fulfilled. The next great event on the prophetic calendar is the return of Christ and Judgment day.
This is a warning! You may be religious and believe that God will weigh all the good against the bad or that all religions lead to Heaven. You may also be a good church worker and give much money to the church but these will not save you on the last day. Jesus said you must be born again.
(John 3:3 KJV) Jesus answered
and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he
cannot see the kingdom of God.
The term "born again" literally means "born from above" which means
that no human on earth can merit heaven by any means except the grace of God. If you are a
Catholic, the Bible nowhere elevates Mary to any position such as
"co-redemptrix." She is not a mediator between God and man, only Christ is:
(1 Tim 2:5 KJV) For there is
one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
You may think because you are good in the sight of people that God also sees you as good.
Here is God's description of all those outside of Christ:
(Rom 3:10-18 KJV) As it is
written, There is none righteous, no, not one: {11} There is none
that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. {12} They are all
gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that
doeth good, no, not one. {13} Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues
they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: {14} Whose mouth is full of
cursing and bitterness: {15} Their feet are swift to shed blood: {16} Destruction and
misery are in their ways: {17} And the way of peace have they not known: {18} There is no
fear of God before their eyes.
Dear reader, Hell is a real place and is not just a slang word which is bantered about. Here is a biblical description of Hell:
(Rev 14:10-11 KJV) The same
shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the
cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the
presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: {11} And the smoke of
their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who
worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
Do you want to go there? The fact that you have read this far means something.
Maybe God
is calling you as one of His elect children.
Why am I giving you this warning? Just as God warned ancient Nineveh that He was going to destroy that great city and he gave them 40 days warning, the Bible also warns us that the end is very near. When Jonah went through the streets of Nineveh, from the King on down, they humbled themselves before God, cried to God for mercy, and repented of their sins.
(Jonah 3:8-9 KJV) But let
man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn
every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands. {9} Who can
tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not?
Did God hear their prayers? Indeed He did and a great many people were saved. (Read the
whole book of Jonah) Now the question remains, Can I still cry to God for mercy so that I
will not come into judgment? Yes, there is still time to become saved even though the time
is very short.
(John 14:6 KJV) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
(Isa 55:6 KJV) Seek ye the
LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
(Heb 2:3 KJV) How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first
began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
(Psa 62:7-8 KJV) In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my
refuge, is in God. {8} Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before
him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.
