Zenan, and Hadashah, and Migdal-gad,
Hadashah was about 22 miles (35 KM) west of Hebron.
Zenan may be the town of Zaanannim which was 5 miles (8 KM) west of the
coast of the Sea of Chinnereth. The
location of Migdal-gad is unknown.

And Dilean, and Mizpeh, and Joktheel,
Dilean was 22 miles (35 KM) west of Hebron.
Mizpeh was 13 miles (21 KM) northwest of Hebron.
The location of Joktheel is unknown.

Lachish, and Bozkath, and Eglon,
Lachish was 18 miles (29 KM) west of Hebron.
Bozkath was 13 miles (21 KM) west of Hebron.
Eglon was 23 miles (37 KM) west of Hebron.

Gederoth was in the low country south of Judah but its
exact location is unknown.
The Philistines also had invaded the
cities of the low country, and of the south of Judah, and had taken
Beth-shemesh, and Ajalon, and Gederoth, and Shocho with the villages thereof,
and Timnah with the villages thereof, Gimzo also and the villages thereof: and
they dwelt there. (2 Chronicles 28:18)
Makkedah was 18 miles (29 KM) southwest of Jerusalem.
The location of Naamah and Beth-dagon are unknown.

transitional region of soft-sloping hills in south-central Israel stretching
over 6 to 9 miles (10–15 KM) between the Judaean Mountains and the Coastal
Plain.

Libnah, and Ether, and Ashan,
Libnah was 15 miles northwest of Hebron.
Ether was 1 mile (1.6 KM) south of Libnah.
Ashan’s location is unknown.

And Jiphtah, and Ashnah, and Nezib,
Jiphtah is Iphtah which was 7 miles (11 KM) northwest of
Hebron. Ashnah was 14 miles (23 KM)
west of Jerusalem. Nezib was 8
miles (13 KM) northwest of Hebron.

And Keilah, and Achzib, and Mareshah; nine cities with
their villages:
Keilah was 8 miles (13 KM) northwest of Hebron.
Achzib was on the Mediterranean coast and was about 28 miles (45 KM) west
of Hazor and about 90 miles (145 KM) north of Jerusalem.
Mareshah was 14 miles (23 KM) northwest of Hebron.
When a city is mentioned the suburbs that are associated with it are
considered part of the city.

Ekron, with her towns and her villages:
Ekron was 17 miles (27 KM) west of Jerusalem and was one
of the five principal cities of the Philistines.
Ekron being a principal city had outlying villages and towns associated
with it so they would be factored in as part of Ekron.

From Ekron even unto the sea, all that lay near
Ashdod, with their villages:
Ashdod was about 11 miles (18 KM) west of Ekron and was
also one of the five principal cities of the Philistines.
The surrounding villages of Ashdod were also included with the city of
Ashdod.
Jos 15:47
Ashdod with her towns and her villages, Gaza with her
towns and her villages, unto the river of Egypt, and the great sea, and the
border thereof:
Gaza was about 22 miles south of Ashdod and was very
close to the coast of the Mediterranean Sea.
And the border shall fetch a
compass from Azmon unto the river of Egypt, and the goings out of it shall be at
the sea. (Numbers 34:5) This was the
south coast. The river of Egypt may
have been the Brook of Egypt which separated them from Sinai.
The borders were the lesser seas to the west such as the Dead Sea or the
Sea of Galilee.

And in the mountains, Shamir, and Jattir, and Socoh,
Shamir was about 14 miles (23 KM) southwest of Hebron.
Socoh was 20 miles (32 KM) southwest of Jerusalem.
Jattir was about 19 miles (31 KM) south of Hebron.
Jos 15:49
And Dannah, and Kirjath-sannah, which is Debir,
Dannah was located about 10 miles (16 KM) southwest of
Hebron. Debir was about 2 miles (3
KM) north of Dannah. Kirjath-sannah
means “the city of the bush, of enmity.”

And Anab, and Eshtemoh, and Anim,
